The College of Design’s programs on the Tempe campus are housed in two connected buildings that form a single complex—the College of Design North building (CDN) and College of Design South building (CDS). The two-story "Bridge" between the original south building and the newer north building places the college’s review and display space at the heart of the complex.
The complexes' facilities include the Herberger Center for Design Research; Architecture and Environmental Design Library; computer laboratories; design studios; the Gallery of Design; lecture and seminar rooms; the Media Center; offices for faculty, the administration, and student organizations; the shop; the slide collection; Materials Resource Center; technology laboratories; and Charlie’s, an indoor/outdoor café perfect for a quick coffee and sandwich between classes.
The Phoenix Urban Research Lab, or PURL, is located in the ASU Downtown Phoenix Campus.
