To complete the professional architecture program, students must attain the Herberger Institute, The Design School’s accredited Master of Architecture (MArch) degree. Completion of the combined undergraduate and graduate professional program is intended to take six years. The two years of graduate study that culminates with the professional MArch degree is accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB). Applicants who already hold a bachelor's degree in another field should apply to the 3-plus-year MArch degree program. A dual career program, Master of Architecture/Master of Business Administration, has been established in cooperation with the W. P. Carey School of Business. It is intended for students who wish to obtain comprehensive business knowledge to complement their design education. The dual degree is intended to be completed within three years.
