The book "The Craftsman and the Critic: Defining Usefulness and Beauty in Arts and Crafts-Era Boston" (University of Massachusetts Press, 2009) by Beverly Brandt, professor in The Design School, was recently selected by Canada's International Foundation of Interior Architects/ Designers as one of the "50 Must Have/ Must Read" books on architecture and design.
