Bio

A career spanning over 30 years of research, development and education in the field of horticulture has given George a wide ranging knowledge of plant materials from many viewpoints. From research in appropriate shade tree selections for cityscapes to production positions in the Southwest to development of new cultivars for the nursery trade and teaching positions to becoming a frequent speaker and writer on uses of plant materials both in this country and abroad, he has developed a strong working knowledge of plant materials.
