Bio

Prof. Mookesh Patel received his MFA in graphic design from Rhode Island School of Design. He holds a diploma in Visual Communication from the National Institute of Design, and a BS from Ahmedabad Science College, Gujarat University, India.

He is a practicing information / experience designer (principal partner at InfoDesign Management Inc., Scottsdale) and visiting faculty member at Rhode Island School of Design.

His recent clients include Phoenix Art Museum, Metropolitan Boston Transit Authority for Malcolm Grear Designers, and Government of India for a major traveling exhibition, My Land, My People. He is the recipient of a Fulbright Research Scholar Grant, United Nations Development Program Grant, and other awards. Professor Patel’s research focuses on the visual communication and information design issues, semiotics, visual interpretation, visualization, exhibition / experience design, and typography.
