Currently an architectural historian at ASU, K. Paul Zygas was trained as an architect at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and worked in Boston, Mass., and London, England, in architectural offices which were designing office buildings, schools for the handicapped, medical laboratories, and teaching facilities. He has extensive construction document and site supervision experience. After finishing his doctoral dissertation about the Soviet avant-garde at Cornell Univ., he taught at USC in Los Angeles. He has lectured about the Constructivists at various universities and museums. His publications include articles about Soviet avant-garde architects, Frank Lloyd Wright, and Baroque architecture in northern Europe. He is currently interested in the planning and architectural implications of symbolic geometry.
