Setting Up Your E-mail Account

When you get to campus (and have registered and paid for classes) you can add services to your account, including a free ASU e-mail mailbox (IMAP email).

How do I subscribe for an ASU E-Mail account/mailbox and other ASURITE services?

Once the User ID has been activated and the student has registered and paid for classes, he or she can add services, including getting a free ASU e-mail mailbox (IMAP email). To add this (and other services) follow these instructions:

Go to http://asu.edu/asurite

Log in using your ASURITE UserId and passphrase.

Choose the "Add Services" button

Select "Student E-Mail Service" from the available options. (And any other service you may wish to add at this time.)

For Student E-Mail Service, be sure to accept the defaults so that your destination address updates accordingly.

Be sure to save any changes and use the logout button when you are finished.

To access this new account, please go to http://my.asu.edu and choose the WebMail tab once you have logged in. (This process can take several hours to take full effect.)

Once the account has been created, you will need to go back into Emma, to the EPO update, and change your destination address.
