Why did you choose the MSD program?
I have grown up in a medical family. My parents own a hospital and somehow I have always been associated with healing environments. I always wondered how improved design could make a healthcare facility and its environment conducive to healing. When I came across this program, I felt it could give me the platform to learn more in this regard and contribute to the design of healthcare facilities.
What is the best aspect of the MSD program?
What I like about this program: It is multidisciplinary and evidence based and focuses on the "emotional aspects" of patients, their families, and the care givers. Also, it is the most comprehensive program on healthcare design and one of its kind in the USA.
