Architecture - Industrial Design - Interior Design - Landscape Architecture - Visual Communication
The Design School in the ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts offers a summer introductory course focused on the design disciplines of architecture, industrial design, interior design, landscape architecture, and visual communication design. The Summer Design Primer is designed to help you explore and succeed in your design education at Arizona State University. The course will introduce basic design skills such as: sketching, interpretation and visual organization of information, creative thinking, model construction, spatial thinking and adobe creative suite.

Friday, July 13, 2018 – Final exhibit of students
Incoming Design Freshmen who are enrolled at Arizona State University for the Fall 2018 semester. In addition, area high school students who have completed their Freshman year by July 2018.
Students will be provided dedicated design studio space where they can work closely with design faculty.
$1,000 if paid on or before May 14, 2018 at 5 p.m.; $1,800 if paid between May 14 - June 8, 2018.
Cost includes: Classes and seminars; supplies and material; field trips; use of computer resources and library, the opportunity to interact with design professionals, design faculty and local design professionals; the opportunity to become familiar with the ASU campus and to meet other freshmen interested in design.
ASU Housing is not provided.
