Under direct supervision, this position manages and coordinates projects including the development of content and materials related to marketing of The Design School and its academic and research programs to provide and grow local, national, and international exposure amongst prospective students, alumni, professionals, communities, and institutional partners. This position is responsible for connecting the communication between The Design School and the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, as one of the five schools within the Institute.
The Design School at the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts is seeking a highly motivated, outgoing, and dynamic Business Operations Specialist Senior to assist with organizing and coordinating the business operations functions in accordance with established goals, priorities, time limitations, funding limitations and/or other specifications. These functions include budgeting, accounting, human resources, payroll, staffing and the financial aspects of some academic services and other functions as designated by Business Operations Manager Sr. This position requires independent judgment and problem solving skills. Incumbent will interact with staff, faculty, and administrators at all levels of ASU and should exhibit strong abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities. This position exercises autonomy and final decision-making authority and is intended to cover a broad range of business responsibilities.
